Supported Browsers

OVERVIEW

Below is a list of all browsers supported by the SARA. The SARA team develops and tests using Windows machines by default. Due to this, we cannot confirm any present issues with the below browsers when used on an Apple or Linux based system. Proceed with caution on these OS' and reach out to atcsupport@sage.com if you notice any issues using these machines.

 

 

BROWSERS

Internet Explorer - Internet Explorer was fully supported on the 3.0 version of SARA. While most functionality is still intact while using this browser, it is no longer officially supported by SARA in the 4.0 and later versions. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in SARA are still present and available in the system but are only compatible with Internet Explorer browser due to the features utilized that were only available with IE during it's initial creation.

 

Mozilla Firefox - Fully supported in the 4.0 and above versions of SARA. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Firefox and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead.

 

Google Chrome - Fully supported in the 4.0 and above versions of SARA. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Chrome and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead.

 

Microsoft Edge - Fully supported in the 4.0 and above versions of SARA. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features may be used with Edge, but it is not fully supported and depends on the version you are currently using. At this moment, the specific versions have not been confirmed for compatibility.

 

Opera - Unsupported by the SARA software but does not currently have any reported issues specific to this browser. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Opera and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead.

 

Safari - Unsupported by the SARA software but does not currently have any reported issues specific to this browser. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Safari and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead. Exercise caution when using Apple based products as our support/engineering teams utilize Microsoft systems and machines for development and testing.

 

Vivaldi - Unsupported by the SARA software but does not currently have any reported issues specific to this browser. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Vivaldi and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead. Since the Vivaldi browser is built using the "Chromium" engine, the functionality should be similar to Chrome, however, no features have been tested in this environment.

 

Chromium - Mentioned above in the Vivaldi description, it is unsupported by the SARA software but does not currently have any reported issues specific to this browser. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Chromium and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead. The functionality should be similar to Chrome, however, no features have been tested in this environment.

 

Midori - Unsupported by the SARA software but does not currently have any reported issues specific to this browser. The "Sync Launcher" and "Report Manager Launcher" features in the system are not compatible with Midori and will need to be used with Internet Explorer instead.
