How to display the £ symbol as the currency ID in Report Manager

  1. Log into the software with IE for your browser

  2. Admin > Settings & Utilities > Report Manager

  3. Click YES to message 'An existing session could be active with the same UserID on domain\machine'

  4. The Reports window will open

  5. Click the green + to add/create a new report

  6. Include the Report Name, description and select the Report Base from the drop-down to select one of the 4 standard reports to base your new report add a description and click save

  7. Select the report

  8. Click View Layout 

  9. To open the Report Designer, in the Preview window - click Edit

  10. Click view>Windows>Field List

  11. Right Click in the formula section and click Add Calculated Field

  12. Right Click on  the new calculated field and click edit calculated field

  13. click on the newly created field and edit the name to CurrencyID and click save

  14. Right Click on the CurrencyID field and click edit expression

  15. Add the following as the expression and then click ok:  Iif([CurrID]='USD', '$' ,'£ ')

  16.  Add the CurrencyID into the report where nedded
