Activity Types are required for any activity within SARA. Some are set by default, some include procedure notes.
Activity types can be setup or modified by going to Admin Master File Activity Types.

Update options:

Activity Base - if a new activity type, choose an activity base, several have specific requirements:

Phone: phone icon on grids / views

ExpectPay: required if setting activity type for default customer portal expected payments

Dispute: required if setting activity type for default customer portal disputes

Activity ID - short descriptions or ID (required), 20 characters

Description - longer description (required), 40 characters

System Activity indicator - cannot be removed, default system setup

Exclude from Dashboard - Dashboard Activities feature must be enabled, this option will exclude specific activity types from this dashboard module

Exclude from CRM - activity type will not be included in CRM connector sync

Display priority - determines the display order for the activity type in the drop down when creating a new activity

Active - disable this option to remove this from the drop downs through out the client

Procedure notes - optional procedure notes can be included to provide additional information for a specific activity type:

When procedure notes are included on an activity type, the procedure button will appear when the activity type is selected within a new activity:
