OVERVIEW
As of October 2020, you can set up dual merchant accounts that allows you to pick and choose which payment provider will handle your ACH and credit card payments. You can choose from our list of accepted payment providers (Solupay, APS, and Paya) and set up one payment provider to handle ACH payments while using another payment provider to handle the credit card payments.
HOW IT WORKS
To get started, you will need to reach out to an SARA representative to get Dual Merchant Account Support enabled for your account. Once the feature has been enabled for your account, you can set up your merchant account as normal. AT the end of the setup, there will be a field called "DualMerchantAcctType" which will allow you to direct that account to only handle either ACH or credit card payments.
Create a second merchant account and run through the setup then choose the other value for this setup. This way, a merchant account is entered to handle both types of payments. Please work with an SARA representative to get this setup for your account.
