You may want to change the default view that the customer sees when they log into Self Service or the Collect portal from the 'magic' link, i.e. hide specific transaction types such as unapplied payments
RESOLUTION

Select a customer from the search bar at the top

Go to Inquiries > By Account > Statement or  Inquiries > By Account >Invoices or Inquiries > By Account >Payments

Adjust the view/grid by moving or hiding columns, add sorting, etc. to the view until it appears as you want your customers to see the view

Click on yellow gear icon for View Settings

In the 'Save current settings as' field, type in #DefaultCustomerView and click Save

If you want to hide the tab for this default view, click on the View Settings icon again to view all saved views

Click Edit on the row for the #DefaultCustomerView and uncheck the 'Show InTab' checkbox

Click Save under the Edit column to save

Close the View Settings

Test by using the customer portal link in an email to verify the settings and view appear as it should for the customer.
