OVERVIEW
After modifying the column order or filtering, you can save the current setup down into a custom view that can be used at a later time. To do this, you will need to select the gear icon labeled “View Settings” found on the toolbar.
At the top of the window, enter the name of the view into the box labeled “Save Current Settings As” then select the "Save" button to confirm your changes.
Once the view is saved, it can be found in the "View Settings" window if any alteration is needed. Below is an overview of the options available in this window.
Sort Order - This number decides where the view appears on the page. Lower numbers appear on the left and higher numbers to the right.
Is Default - This will cause the view to be the first view loaded in for any user.
Show in Tab - If this option has no value, the view will not appear on the screen to be selected. It allows a user to hide an option without deleting it.
Is System - This section is unchangeable. It identifies whether or not a specific view is a system pre-set. These are views that come with the software by default.
NOTE - To save these changes, you must select the save icon for the specified view. This is the floppy disc icon in the list between the "Columns" and "Delete" fields. |
NOTE - Users are able to save account views by including an asterisk "*" before the name of the view. Account views allow your custom views to be accessed and used by other users in the system. The article below provides more details on this. |
