EDITION: Standard and Enterprise
RESOLUTION
The RespondDueDays field represents the number of days remaining to respond to an open follow-up. This calculation is driven by the Response Days and and Response Date associated with a follow-up found within a Communication.
Note: this date calculation also follows the work calendar to ensure there are no respond dates on non-working days
The Response Date is set on the Communication in the following manner:
Scenario 1 - The communication is generated from an Action Alert
- If the Action Alert (within a Credit Class) has a Days to Respond Value > 0 then the Response Date will be set to this value
ELSE
- If the Customer has a Days to Respond Value > 0 then the Response Date will be set to this value
ELSE
- If the Site Options default Days to Respond Value > 0 then the Response Date will be set to this value
ELSE
-It will be set to the same date as the Follow-up Date
Scenario 2 - The communication is created by the user
The Response Date is set by the user but the value will default following the same logic as above (Customer then Site Options) and the user can override this value
Example:
If the Response Days is 4 and the Follow-up Date is 1/1/2015 then the Response is due on 1/5/2015. And if today is 1/3/2015 then the RespondDueDays is 2, i.e. you have 2 days left to respond to this follow-up
This value can be used for sorting and prioritizing communications and addtionally, an alert could be created and driven off of this field as well
