If you are an admin, you are able to set a time frame in which you would like the message displayed on the customer portal to be available to see. To set this are the steps below:

As an admin user, navigate to (Admin > Settings & utilities > Site Options > (Options))

Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Customer Portal" section

You will see the following:

The start date will prevent the message until a certain date

The end date will turn off the message after a certain date
