OVERVIEW
Desktop Syncs utilize the Windows Task Scheduler application to schedule the sync to run every night. If the trigger does not have enough permissions to run, the sync will never be kicked off.
-
Open the "Task Scheduler" application using an Admin level Windows user.
-
On the left-hand side of the app, select "Task Scheduler Library".
-
Locate the SARA trigger and double-click on it.
This record is typically named "[ERP] to SARA Sync". For example, Great Plains customers will see "Great Plains to SARA Sync" -
-
Check the "Run with Highest Privileges" box then select "OK" to confirm.
-
You can attempt to launch the sync by right clicking on the scheduled task and selecting "Run". If this attempt gets logged to the either the physical or client side sync log, then you know the trigger can run without issue.
