RESOLUTION
If your sync has been failing and the sync log contains the error 'All Companies Requested currently being processed, the sync has started but has not completed.
The sync could still be running and must complete before starting a new sync but this error could also be due to a rogue sync session that was interrupted and the background sync process was terminated for various reasons (server/machine restart, sync user logged off after sync started, etc.)
Steps to Follow:
-
Log onto the server/machine where the sync is installed as the user running the sync (click here on how to verify this information)
-
Open the Windows Task Manager Processes and verify the AnytimeCollectSync.exe is not running or does not appear in this list of processes (if this process appears in the list, the sync is currently running and must complete)
-
Log into SARA as an Admin User
-
Go to Admin Settings & Utilities Logs Account Sync Sessions
-
Review the sync sessions and the Comment for a 'Start of Sync' prior to the most recent failed syncs (this comment will indicate a start of sync that never completed)
-
Scroll to the right in the grid and select 'End Sync' for each Start of Sync
-
After refreshing the sync sessions grid, the Comment should update to indicate 'Manually Ended Session'
-
Re-run your sync and verify it ran successfully
