Import Customer Notes can be used to import historical notes into SARA as closed activity notes or account notes to provide information from another system or to assist in the transition from another application.

File Format Information:

CompanyID: This is the ERP Company Code.

CustID: this the ERP Customer Code

This would be the AR Division + “-“+ Customer Code.

For Sage 100 users that do not use AR Divisions the AR Division will always be 00

ActivityDate: Date of the Note - This will import using UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). A time conversion will occur based on each users time zone as set within SARA

To import as 12:00 Eastern import the Activity Date with the below

TaskDesc: Description of the note. Max length 100 characters

If you would like to tag invoices to the newly created Activity, then a Pipe (|) delimited list can be provided.
