RESOLUTION
There are several options for using snippet codes or mail merge type fields within emails and email templates in the collection software.
Using the drop-down on the 'Insert snippet code' icon - there are 7 default fields available:

Customer Statement Link - hyperlink for auto login for customers to access their account, defaulting to the statement page

Customer Document Link - hyperlink auto login for customers to access their account, defaulting to the document page

Customer - Customer ID
-
Customer Name
-
Primary Contact Name - contact name designated as the primary contact in the Account info drop down

Total Aging - customer account balance in the collection software
-
Total Past due - customer past due balance in collection software
On top of this there are links available for all available pages within the customer portal:

Customer Payments

Customer Contacts

Customer Contact Information

The formatting of each snippet code is below with the pipe delimiter separating the snippet code and the default text. The default text is only required with the hyperlink snippet codes and can be manually changed to any default text as shown in examples below:

A complete list of all mail merge type snippet codes are below and can be used with the pipe delimiter to add default text if the data field is empty or not used. Any/all of the below snippet codes can be used in the subject of any emails (manual or auto emails) along with included anywhere in the body of an email in the collection software:
