Contact Management

Contacts and the contact key are based on the following 3 fields:

• CompanyID

• CustID

• ContactName

The contact name is part of the key or unique identifier for every contact.  Contacts and contact data are updated during the sync process, but are not deleted as part of this sync process.

NOTE: A change in the contact name will create a new contact due to the ContactName being part of the key for this field, i.e. changing a contact name from Chris Smith to Christine Smith will create a new, duplicate contact
